PaintJam Lights Up the Stage at Kubota’s Factory Grand Opening in Gainesville, Georgia
In June, PaintJam delivered an electrifying performance at Kubota’s grand opening of their new monumental automated tractor factory in Gainesville, Georgia. Combining artistry and high-energy entertainment, PaintJam artist Harvey Dunn captivated attendees with custom paintings designed specifically to celebrate Kubota’s innovation and success.
Custom Artwork Steals the Spotlight
After several weeks of brainstorming over conference calls and 3 separate pitches, each with new painting suggestions, Kubota was pleased with the creative direction that PaintJam was heading. Harvey embodied Kubota’s values in every painting:
- the reliability of the vintage tractors still in use
- the symbolism of the first penguin is that fortune favors the bold
- the new tractors that have set the standard for all modern farms.
Harvey Dunn showcased PaintJam’s unmatched ability to transform events into unforgettable experiences. The show opened with a bespoke painting of the LA526 Tractor that the new facility manufactures. The painting featuring Kubota’s Tractor in a peach orchard acknowledged the company’s state of Georgia.
To set the stage for Kubota’s keynote address Harvey painted “The First Penguin” a symbolic illustration of courage and innovation. It refers to the individual who bravely takes the first step or initiates an action, especially when facing potential risks or challenges. It’s a metaphor for those who dare to innovate, take chances, and lead the way – even when there is huge risk involved. The term originates from the idea that when penguins are about to jump into the water, one has to be the first to go, despite the possibility of predators. This symbol is an important part of Kubota’s corporate culture – and it was brought to life through PaintJam’s dynamic presentation.
PaintJam’s Creative Adaptability Shines
Harvey also thrilled the audience with a colorful portrayal of a vintage Kubota tractor from the 1950s. To fit Kubota’s timeline for their presentation, Harvey recorded his performance of the vintage tractor and edited it down to a flashy one minute video to be played on screen as the stage was cleared. There’s a reason it’s called Speed Painting! – In a tight 20-minute event timeframe, PaintJam demonstrated exceptional creativity and flexibility.
A High-Profile Audience and Enthusiastic Reception
The event was attended by prominent guests, including Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and several key Kubota executives, adding significance to the celebration. Over 400 Kubota employees joined VIP guests, generating palpable excitement throughout the morning. PaintJam’s engaging performance energized the entire crowd, transforming an ordinary corporate event into an extraordinary, vibrant experience.
Connecting with the Kubota Community
PaintJam’s artwork resonated with Kubota’s employees, inspiring nostalgia and pride. The vivid paintings of tractors and Georgia’s iconic peach trees demonstrated PaintJam’s unique ability to connect emotionally and culturally with corporate audiences.
PaintJam: Elevating Events Beyond Expectations
Through inventive artistry and energetic performances, PaintJam didn’t just entertain—they elevated Kubota’s milestone celebration. More than mere visual spectacle, PaintJam’s performance embodied storytelling, team-building, and cultural inspiration.
